Whats WildRose Been Up To?

I haven't been active with gamedev lately. I really hoped this year would be my year of game development. I finally made and released a game with the game jam, so now its time to do that but bigger!
But depressing life stuff has happened instead. Both locally in my personal life and also in the world at large. I'm also used to thinking of those 2 kinds of problems as seperate things but that's no longer the case! I was in the city of Minniapolis when the state was just executing people in the streets. I had about a month of very bad depression.
I have been slowly getting back to my hobbies, but after the MN trip there is only one game I want to make. I have tried making it with RayLib but I would like to experiment with using modern physically based rendering on pixel art sprites. I think it could lend to a unique look and also go very well with the ideas I want to play around with this game. It is just simply easier to use Godot's existing render pipeline, so thats what I have done here.
I will continue to play around with this and see how practical is it to make a scene of these kinds of sprites. Also I do not want to have gamedev be my only creative outlet anymore. I want to make physical art, zines, and other things. I also want to run some tabletop RPG sessions in my area.

All of this combined is making me look towards returning to using a normal game engine like everyone else. Mostlikely I will continue to just use Godot instead of making the PBR pipeline myself with Raylib. I'm fine with this now. "Game Developer" used to be a much bigger core part of my identity... despite never releasing a game lol. But now I have released a game and have many other things going on at the same time. It is what it is and I feel like more things going on in my life with friends is probably for the best instead of me continuing to be an anti-social shut in who only codes on game projects to add to the Gamedev Graveyard.

I guess we will see if this goes anywhere. Either way I will be posting more things here, be that artwork or whatever.
